Terms and Conditions
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Fundwise website at this domain ("Website") or by engaging our financial education services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our Website or services. These Terms apply to all visitors, enquirers, and clients of Fundwise.
2. About Fundwise
Fundwise is a financial education practice based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Our registered business address is 23 Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, 50100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan. We provide structured financial education programmes for individuals, couples, and organisations. We do not provide regulated financial advice, and nothing on this Website or in our programmes constitutes advice regulated under any Malaysian financial services legislation.
3. Nature of Our Services — Not Financial Advice
Fundwise provides financial education. Our programmes are designed to improve financial literacy and decision-making capability. They do not constitute, and should not be relied upon as, personalised financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, or any other form of regulated professional advice.
Our educators are not licensed financial advisers under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007, the Financial Services Act 2013, or any other Malaysian regulatory framework that governs the provision of financial advice. If you require personalised financial planning, investment recommendations, or similar regulated services, you should engage a licensed professional.
Any financial information shared in our sessions is for educational purposes. Outcomes depend on individual circumstances, decisions, and conditions outside our control, and we make no representation that any particular result will be achieved.
4. Programme Enrolment and Payment
Enrolment in a Fundwise programme is confirmed once you have received a written confirmation from us and payment has been received in full or as otherwise agreed in writing. Programme fees are as listed on our Website at the time of enquiry, subject to any agreed variations.
- Payment is due in accordance with the terms communicated at time of booking.
- We accept payment by bank transfer. Details will be provided upon confirmation of your place.
- Prices are inclusive of all programme materials and sessions as described for each programme.
- Fundwise reserves the right to adjust programme fees for future enrolments. Fees agreed at the time of booking will be honoured for that booking.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances change. The following cancellation and rescheduling terms apply:
- Cancellation by you (more than 7 days before first session): A full refund will be issued, less any administrative fees incurred.
- Cancellation by you (7 days or less before first session): A 50% refund will be issued. We are not able to offer a full refund within this period due to preparation and scheduling commitments.
- Cancellation by you after the programme has commenced: No refund will be issued for sessions already completed. We will discuss a proportional credit for undelivered sessions on a case-by-case basis.
- Rescheduling: You may request to reschedule a session by giving at least 48 hours' notice. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests. Rescheduling within 48 hours may not always be possible.
- Cancellation by Fundwise: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a confirmed programme, we will notify you as promptly as possible and issue a full refund. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from such cancellation.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
6. Confidentiality of Session Content
We treat all personal and financial information shared during our sessions as strictly confidential. Our educators will not disclose session content to third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
In return, we ask that participants treat session materials, frameworks, and workbooks as proprietary educational content that is intended for personal use only. Materials provided during programmes may not be reproduced, redistributed, or commercially exploited without our written permission.
7. Participant Conduct
We are committed to maintaining a respectful, judgment-free environment in all our sessions. We ask all participants to engage in a manner that is respectful to our educators and, in group settings, to other participants. Fundwise reserves the right to discontinue a programme for any participant whose conduct is disruptive, abusive, or otherwise inconsistent with a constructive educational environment. In such cases, a partial refund proportional to undelivered sessions may be offered at our discretion.
